A BIG Win For The Bearkats!

We went to the homecoming parade. Maecee saw Sammy Bearkat and gave him a big hug. She got lots of candy too. Friday Bill, Misty (Tommy's cousins), Mark, Becky, and Gavin came to visit. The weather was cool for the first time this fall. It was really nice. I wish it would stay that way. The guys cooked a brisket that night and Maecee had a blast playing with Gavin. Saturday morning Tommy left for the game and we all got ready for his surprise party. Bill, Mark, Becky, and Gavin went to the game. Davis was too fussy to take. Maecee was a little disappointed. She had been talking about seeing Sammy Bearkat all day. Misty stayed with Davis and Maecee and I ran to get the cake and BBQ. The Bearkats pulled off a win (think goodness)! It was hot and sunny so I am glad that I ended up not going. Tommy was surprised to come home to the decorations and hear about the party. He had a great time. Sunday all the family went home and we headed to church. Sunday was baby dedication day. Davis got a tiny bible. Today Davis and I are at home. It is chilly and rainy today. Tomorrow we are going to church for bible study and then to a magic show tomorrow evening. I am taking one of my students from last year to the show.
