Well since I wrote last a lot has happened. The
kids and I went to the Renaissance Festiv
al. We saw some live shows. Maecee got to ride a huge swing and the carousel. We saw a parade and Maecee ate a turkey leg. On the way home, Davis had to eat so I stopped at a park and let Maecee play while I fed him.
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Huntsville. My mom, Ches, and Allie came the in RV with Grandma and Granddad. We enjoyed visiting with everyone. Of course we had a lot to eat, too much actually. My mom took the girls on walks. The guys had a TV in the garage and watched football.
Maecee and Allie watched The Wizard of Oz at least 3 times. We all enjoyed baby Davis on his 1st Thanksgiving. Auntie did crafts with
Allie and Maecee.

I went back to work the Monday after Thanksgiving. I just finished my first week. I didn't realize how much I could miss my babies. I have been holding Davis all day today. Rosemary (the babysitter) is going to be mad at me for spoiling him.
The first week went well. I actually enjoyed being back despite the fact I missed my babies. Thankfully it was a smooth transition for all of us.

Friday we went to a local event at the fair grounds called A Journey through Bethlehem. They had camels, donkeys, llamas, and food from the time when Jesus was born. Everyone was dressed from that time. It was set up like a town and we just walked through it like we would if we were in the town. They had a manger set up with a real Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. We all had a great time.
This morning we got the kids dressed up to go see Santa at my school. My school has an annual event called cocoa with Santa. We also went to a Christmas parade in downtown Huntsville this evening.
