Cinco de Mayo
Every year Tom, Akram, and Katie come to visit us on Cinco de Mayo. They got here Friday evening. The guys stayed up late visiting. Saturday afternoon Akram and I took the kids to the Folk Festival. We looked at all the sights, watched dancing, and ate lots of yummy food. Sunday Akram and I left all 3 kids with the guys and we went shopping. Akram is my official wardrobe consultant. I hate clothes shopping so I like to take Akram shopping with me. We told the little girls we would give them a spa party if they were good for the guys. Sunday evening the girls took a bath in our big tub, got massages with heat, pedicures, hot wax on their hands, and manicures. They thought it was awesome. Maecee thought she was a queen. A spa party! Where was my invitation? You are such a great mom. You do a lot of fun things with Maecee. When my baby girl comes, I am going to have to remember all your fun ideas.
