Busy Busy Busy!

Well the weekend started out great. I went to happy hour after school Friday with some ladies from work. Then I met Tommy at Fat Boys for supper and karoke. I think Maecee had more fun than anyone. She was up front dancing to every song.

Saturday we had 2 birthday parties to attend. Calvin turned 8. He had a food fight party. It looked like fun. Maecee didn't really get into it. She is not much into getting dirty. Which really surprises me. With her outgoing and tough personality, I figured she would be the kind of girl that rolled around in the mud. She doesn't even like her hands getting dirty. Jadyn turned 3. She had a princess party. Maecee wore a Cinderella dress. She had a lot of fun at both parties. Tommy spent the day getting ready to leave for Oklahoma to BBQ all next week. He rented a U Haul truck. He had it packed full. He took Maecee for a ride in it before he left. She thought it was special to ride in Daddy's big truck.

Sunday, Davis had his first haircut on the front porch. For Mama's first time cutting hair, it looks pretty good. I just put Maecee to bed. I was back in the bedroom paying bills. I went to get my purse and she was asleep on the floor. She fell asleep watching The Little Mermaid. I know that is a "bad mom" thing to do.

This is the last week of school!!! Hooray!!!
