Update!

Just wanted to post some new pictures of Christmas and up to now. We all had a great Christmas. Of course, like always, the break was too quick. Tommy actually got off the entire break this year and we really enjoyed spending time as a family. I think it was therapeutic for all of us. I dreaded school starting back, but it was actually good to back into a routine.
On the break, the kids and I went to Oklahoma. We stayed with Ricky and Carol. We saw Bennett, Betty, and their family. We ate good, the kids had fun and got lots of attention. It was a good trip. We came back and did Christmas here with just the 4 of us. We stayed at the house for New Years Eve. Our street had a block party and we got some small fireworks for the kids. There was a great fireworks show in our neighborhood, but the kids were already asleep. On New Years Day, Tommy and I went to the Cotton Bowl. We got to visit with a lot of family on Tommy's side and had a great time.

Last weekend, Tommy's aunt and cousin from Virginia came to visit and stayed Saturday night. It was good to see them and catch up. We wish Carrie all the luck starting her new school in Arizona!
The kids liked Uncle Ricky. He played rough with them. I hope his back has recovered! Maecee liked helping Aunt Carol cook and give Roxy a bath. She still talks about Roxy!
Tommy and I tailgating before the Cotton bowl. It was a great kid- free trip! Tommy and I really enjoyed ourselves, seeing family, and the game (even though we didn't win)!
Maecee and Davis enjoying ice cream cones. I have the tiny cones and I put chocolate and strawberry cool whip on them. The kids love them and it is a little better than ice cream. Thanks for the idea Akram!

This Tonka dump truck was a Christmas gift from Grand and Papa. It has been a huge hit around the house. The kids are always hauling stuff around in it (including each other) and Davis loves to just push it around.

Maecee had a parent day at her dance class recently. She was so proud we were there to watch. She is such a precious part of our family....most of the time....lol

It sounds like life is treating you well! As always, your kids are adorable and I can't believe how big they are getting. :)
